Program guide

>>> Overall process

Step 1 | Understand SailGlobal services and spot customer needs (see product intro)

Refer customers to SailGlobal when you see situations such as:

  • The company plans to place people overseas but has not set up a local entity yet, or has an entity that is not yet operational;
  • The company already operates overseas and needs to build an HR function / hire overseas HR / manage overseas staff with systems;
  • Cross-border employment, contracts, or payroll carry compliance risk;
  • Needs span overseas incorporation, recruiting, flexible workforce, visas, or work permits.

Step 2 | Refer the lead to SailGlobal (referral only; you are not involved in delivery)

SailGlobal provides compliance consulting, pre-sales assessment, and service delivery.

Step 3 | Rewards & rebates

Eligibility, amounts, and payout timing follow the active program rules, compliance review, and written agreements.

>>> Rewards & payout

Payout timing:

  • On the 15th–25th of each month, channel operations will email partners to confirm progress on last month’s successful referrals (opportunities + closed deals) and related rewards.
  • On the 15th–25th of the first month of each quarter, we pay rewards for the prior quarter that SailGlobal has confirmed, and start the payout process.

Payout method depends on referrer type:

  • SailGlobal employees (non-sales, non-delivery, non-marketing): paid with salary to the payroll card; taxes are borne by the employee.
  • External referrers: transfer to the bank account they provide. Taxes on opportunity rewards are borne by SailGlobal; taxes on commission for closed deals are borne by the referrer.

Before paying rewards, channel operations will collect the following from external referrers:

  • Beneficiary bank details: bank name, account number, and a copy of ID.
  • Scanned withholding-tax commitment (including fingerprint/signature as required).

Final payout rules, tax treatment, and required documents follow the active program rules and written notices from channel operations. Never share sensitive data with unofficial channels.

>>> How to recognize a “demand opportunity”

To judge whether a lead is high-potential for advancing cooperation, evaluate it using the BANT model:

BANT model

ItemDimensionWhat to assess
BBudgetDoes the client have budget or a clear willingness to invest in SailGlobal-related products and services?
AAuthorityDoes the contact have decision power or real influence on the executive they report to?
NNeedAre there clear needs in overseas employment, local HR, payroll, recruiting, visas, etc.?
TTimelineIs there a specific execution plan (e.g., kick off in Q1 next year)?

Basic information to collect before submitting a lead

To help SailGlobal evaluate and follow up efficiently, we recommend collecting the following information in advance:

  • Client company name;
  • Contact name, title, email, phone / WeChat;
  • Current overseas footprint or planned goals;
  • Core need types: overseas employment, local HR, payroll, recruiting, visas, systems, etc.

What this model can mean for you

  • Natural extension of your service chain without channel conflict;
  • Monetize existing relationships with incremental revenue;
  • No consumption of your delivery capacity;
  • No KPI pressure: no sales/pre-sales quota on your side.

Especially well suited to:

  • Consultants who already work with many overseas-going clients / multinational enterprises;
  • Headhunters / HR agencies that want higher per-account value without expanding a delivery team;
  • The above is internal material for SailGlobal channel partners, for coordination, training, and partner communication only. Do not republish or distribute it publicly as external marketing material.

Special note: cases where no reward is given

  • Sales, marketing, and delivery teams referring internal SailGlobal opportunities receive no reward;
  • The program is for referring others only; self-referrals receive no reward;
  • If multiple people refer the same opportunity, the reward goes to the first referrer by registration order in the system; later referrers receive no reward;
  • If the referred party is already a SailGlobal customer—with a closed deal or a lead followed up within 365 days (in progress or ruled invalid within ≤365 days)—no reward;
  • No reward if more than six calendar months elapse from referral to contract signing.
